In this position, you will develop and maintain service knowledge database, Improve the delivery of information to our customers and customer engineers through better use of technology; Identify service trends and recommend cost reduction measures. Establish service "best practices" procedures; Manage all administrative functions, including the development of semi-annual budget process, full supervisory oversight and development and coaching of employees, and handling of other administrative processes; Maintain, utilize, and support remote diagnostics; Drive department to reduce service contract costs and expand InTouch Center revenue opportunities and establish department measurements and reporting standards for all aspects of the support organization.

You will also be responsible for the strategic plan for the InTouch Center. Supply input to the Director of Service Technical Operations for operation strategic plan; Department performance will have a direct impact on service contract revenue; Personal contacts are of considerable importance inside and outside the company. Judgment and diplomacy are essential to avoid significant losses to TAMS; Plan the department workload. Ability to track productivity; Generally managed; activities are governed by general organizational rules and procedures; much autonomy within established timeframes; exercise a high degree of initiative involving major programs and commitment; Perform creative work of a research and development nature with few precedents or examples; Position duties involve making frequent decisions and frequent recommendations; Develop working relationships with Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Support Line and Front Line individuals, groups, and departments and have the ability to develop Business Plans and return on investment.
Qualifications Position Requisites

Four-year degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent work experience.

10-12 years service experience.

5-8 years engineering development experience or project management.

3-5 years managerial experience with budgetary and strategic planning responsibilities.

Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
